Radical Wine Company is an urban-style winery in Mahoning Township, just outside Lehighton, founded in 2014 by Brandon and Kate Borger. Working like a craft brewery, it sources grapes from established growing regions and makes small batches on site, with a list of roughly 20 wines that leans toward sweet and semi-sweet styles but includes dry reds and whites. Several specialty wines raise money for local animal shelters and rescues. Beyond wine by the glass, the menu covers sangrias, wine slushies, Pennsylvania draft beer and cocktails. A popular novelty is the float flight: wine-infused soft-serve ice cream topped with a choice of wines or sangrias. Seating is first come, first served, indoors and outdoors. The winery hosts live music and food truck nights through the year, so check the schedule if you want to eat on site.
