Yuengling Brewery
Founded in 1829 by German immigrant David G. Yuengling, this is America's oldest operating brewery, still family-owned six generations later. Free 75-minute tours run several times a day, leading through hand-dug 19th-century fermentation caves, the restored original brewhouse, and the modern bottling line still in daily use, finishing with a tasting of two beers. It's less a brewery stop than a genuine piece of American brewing history, and it's worth booking ahead of a Locust Lake visit since weekend tour slots fill quickly.
