RAW Urban Winery & Hard Cidery

RAW Urban Winery & Hard Cidery opened on Main Street in downtown Stroudsburg in 2015 and describes itself as the Poconos' first urban winery. It is run by winemaker Matthew, a Stroudsburg native, and his wife Misty, who makes the hard ciders. The wines are made in a Napa style and include Misty Love, an oak-aged Cabernet blend, a Malbec called 98, a Super Tuscan-style blend, Pinot Grigio and Moscato. The small-batch ciders use foraged herbs and organic flowers: Sweet Gypsy is made with hibiscus and honey, and Oaky O'Shea is aged in whiskey barrels and finished with local maple syrup. The wines are vegan and the ciders gluten-free. Wine is served by the glass, the bottle or as a tasting, with cider on tap. The same space runs the RAW Organic Coffee Bar, serving coffee, matcha, chai and mocktails. The Sherman Theater is a short walk away.
