Summit House at Camelback

A restaurant at the top of Camelback Mountain, inside Big Pocono State Park, serving comfort food such as grilled cheese with tomato soup, crispy tenders, empanadas, chili and jumbo pretzels, plus cocktails and beer, with panoramic mountain views. It runs seasonally: in winter it is reachable only by ski-in and ski-out with a valid lift ticket, and Camelback's own page currently lists it as temporarily closed. It is also offered as an event venue, including a private room. Call before planning a visit.
