The Garden at desaki
The Garden at desaki is the garden dining area at Desaki Restaurant in Swiftwater, PA, serving Japanese cuisine in the $$$ price range. The draw here is the setting: an outdoor garden space that earns its "scenic" billing, which makes it a natural fit for a warm-weather dinner when you'd rather be surrounded by greenery than seated indoors. The Japanese and broader Asian menu, paired with the mid-to-upper price tier, puts it in date-night and celebration-dinner territory rather than quick-bite territory — worth planning around rather than dropping into.
Call ahead to confirm that garden seating is open and available on the night you want it, since outdoor space in the Poconos is seasonal and weather-dependent.
