Lakefront Lake Wallenpaupack

Palmyra Township, Pike County

Why we picked it

A lake house in a Lake Wallenpaupack community with its own dock, a private hot tub and fire pits by the water, plus a game room for the evenings.

A five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath waterfront house in the Wallenpaupack Lake Estates community, with 14 beds, a private dock, lake access and two fire pits by the water. It has a private hot tub, a game room with ping pong and air hockey, a full kitchen and free parking. The listing mentions lake rights, fishing and kayaking, though it doesn't provide kayaks, and the host says the hot tub is drained and sanitized after each guest. The host says it sleeps 16. Renters must be at least 25, smoking is prohibited, up to two dogs under 50 pounds are allowed, and family gatherings and birthday parties of up to 25 people are permitted.
