Log Tavern Brewing Co. opened its Milford taproom in November 2018, founded by Ryan Scott and Joe Fischer after years of homebrewing. The brewery occupies a converted light-industrial building on East Harford Street that the owners largely built out themselves, with hand-welded bar stools, reclaimed schoolhouse slate and other salvaged materials giving it a rustic, log-cabin feel. The wooded site overlooks Raymondskill Ridge and Sawkill Creek, and the outdoor area has fire pits and open seating. All Log Tavern beer is brewed here, and the tap list rotates through IPAs, hazy IPAs, stouts, cream ales, sours and seasonal releases. Food is limited to casual snacks such as personal pizzas and pretzels, so plan dinner elsewhere in Milford. Live music is a regular feature. The same beers are also poured at the brewery's larger second taproom in Tafton, near Lake Wallenpaupack.
